Enid is a film censor during Britain's infamous ‘video nasty’ era of the 80s. After her latest viewing has a disturbingly familiar storyline, she attempts to solve the past mystery of her sister's disappearance and embarks on a quest that dissolves the line between fiction and reality.
Prano Bailey-Bond co-writes and directs this British horror starring Niamh Algar as a troubled film censor. In 1980s Britain, diligent film censor Enid Baines (Algar) notices parallels between a so-called video nasty and a traumatic incident from her past. Convinced that her sister, who has been missing for 20 years, makes an appearance in the horror film, Enid seeks out the film's producer in her obsessive search for answers.
