100 years ago in the coastal town of Antonio Bay, California, a ship was wrecked due to a false beacon light, enveloped by a sinister fog. The ship's occupants return to punish the descendants of those responsible for their deaths - their arrival heralded by the fog inexorably rolling into Antonio Bay once again.
The 2018 restoration of The Fogwas made using the original camera negative which was scanned at 4K resolution in 16bit and we applied a HDR Dolby Vision workflow to the restoration process which resulted in the creation of a 4K DCP, HDR and SDR UHD version and a new SDR HD version which were produced with the same high technological standards as today's biggest international film releases.
This premium edition includes both 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray versions of the film. Please note that in order to enjoy the 4k Ultra HD version in its intended quality, you will need to watch it on a 4k television or monitor.
