A troubled young man, who believes himself to be a vampire, goes to live with his elderly and religious cousin in a small Pennsylvania town where he tries to redeem his blood-craving urges after he falls for a lonely housewife, all the while his hostile cousin becomes convinced that the young man is actually Nosferatu.
Psychological horror written and directed by George A. Romero. Set in the desolate surburban wasteland of Pittsburgh, Romero's modern vampire story mixes traditional myths and legends with contemporary medical science.
Martin Mathias (John Amplas) believes he needs to drink blood to survive and sets about doing so wielding razors and syringes. Lincoln Maazel, Christine Forrest and Elyane Nadeau also star.
