Karel Zeman co-writes and directs this fantasy adventure starring Milos Kopecky as eccentric adventurer Baron Munchausen.
After coming across young astronaut Tonik (Rudolf Jelínek) on the moon, the Baron decides to take him back to Earth to meet a Sultan (Rudolf Hrusínsky) in 18th century Turkey. However, when Tonik then falls in love with one of the Sultan's prisoners, he and the Baron are forced to embark on a series of thrilling adventures.
The cast also includes Jana Brejchová, Karel Höger and Eduard Kohout.
