SCALA!!! is the story of the now legendary Scala cinema, which through its unique programme- ranging from established classics to offbeat cult hits- offered a refuge to community in the post-punk years of Thatcher’s Britain.
Ali Catterall and Jane Giles' documentary is a highly entertaining homage to the cult London picture house, and a tribute to the power of cinemas to inspire and create a sense of community for outsiders.
