Classic 1960s British horror.
After disfiguring a patient, crazed plastic surgeon Dr Rossiter (Anton Diffring) takes refuge with a circus in France. Assuming the identity of Dr Bernard Schuler, he quickly gains control of the circus and begins reconstructing the faces of scarred women who become part of the sideshow's 'Temple of Beauty' - but things prove very nasty for those who try to leave.
The cast also includes Erika Remberg, Yvonne Monlaur, Donald Pleasence and Conrad Phillips.
