If there’s a problem with your order

Your membership discount is not showing

Depending on when you created your account, it might take a couple of days for your membership to be verified and updated. If you need to place an urgent order, please contact our membership team at membership@bfi.org.uk, and they will help you.

 

If you did not get a confirmation email

Check your spam or junk folder, as sometimes our emails go there. Additionally, a typo in your email address could stop you from getting our emails.

If you're still having issues, contact us, and we'll check if your order was processed.

For future purchases, consider creating an account with us to easily track your orders and receive notifications. Email bfishop@bfi.org.uk for help.

 

If you've received an incorrect item

Contact us straight away so we can resolve the issue.

Typically, we will provide a pre-paid envelope for you to return the item. We'll then assist you with the return or exchange process to ensure you receive the correct item. Check our returns and refund policy.

 

If you've received a faulty item

If you believe your product is faulty, return the item to us together with a copy of your invoice with a note explaining what you believe the fault to be with the products. When we receive the item, we will investigate the fault and contact you to agree the most appropriate resolution.

If the products supplied to you are damaged on delivery, please tell us within 14 days.

 

Check the status of your refund

Refunds typically take a few days to process and can take up to 7 business days to appear in your account. If your refund hasn’t been returned after 14 days, please contact us, and we’ll investigate for you.

Cancelling your order

You can cancel your order within 14 working days of placing your order.

If you cancel and your products haven’t been dispatched, we’ll credit the amount back to your credit or debit card.

If the products have already been dispatched, you must return the products (unpackaged) as soon as possible at your own expense.

As soon as we receive the returned product, we will credit to your credit or debit card any sum debited within 30 days of receipt of your products being returned.

If you don’t return the products, we may arrange to collect them from the delivery address. If we do, we can deduct the direct collection costs from the amount we refund to you, which will be processed within 30 days of your notification.

 

Issues with Sight and Sound subscription

The BFI Shop does not handle Sight and Sound subscriptions. For assistance with your subscription, please contact sightandsound@abacusemedia.com, and they will be able to help you.
