Inspired by the original National Film Theatre sign on Waterloo Bridge
To celebrate the BFI London Film Festival, we've dug into our design archives to create this beautiful pin badge inspired by the the National Film Theatre (now BFI Southbank).
The National Film Theatre (NFT) was designed in 1957 by Norman Engleback and constructed in just 15 months. The original NFT sign can still be seen on the South West side of the bridge, and inspired the current LFF visual identity.
This badge recreates the much loved (and now listed) sign in wearable form.
Enamel metal pin badge, measures approximately 18mm x 27mm.
