Description

Inspired by the original National Film Theatre sign on Waterloo Bridge

Celebrate the history of the BFI with these beautiful National Film Theatre socks.

The National Film Theatre (now BFI Southbank) was designed in 1957 by Norman Engleback and constructed in just 15 months underneath Waterloo Bridge.

The original (now listed) NFT sign can still be seen on the South West side of the bridge, and was lovingly restored to its original glory in 2018, inspiring the current visual identity of the London Film Festival.

These eye-catching socks recreate the much loved geometric pattern in wearable form, with the distinctive overlapping triangle pattern interlocking around the leg.

Perfect for cinema lobby posing.

One size fits all.

73% cotton, 23% polyamide, 4% spandex. Made in Portugal.

The BFI is a registered charity which supports, promotes and preserves film, television and moving image in the UK. Every pair of socks purchased helps support the work of the BFI.
