Odyssey Poster - Greg Ruth (A3)

Full colour A3 poster officially licensed from Universal to coincide with the release of Christopher Nolan’s Odyssey in cinemas.

This poster is part of an official print series with Universal Products & Experiences, inspired by Christopher Nolan's new mythic action epic "The Odyssey", based on Homer's foundational saga. The collection brings together a group of acclaimed artists working in the tradition of pop culture art, inspired by Nolan's film.

Greg Ruth has designed this image of Odysseus. Ruth is an author and illustrator known for his distinctive style depicting hyper-realism using preferred medium of sumi ink and graphite. Born and raised in Texas USA, he originally attended Pratt (NYC) for architecture before transitioning into fine arts via painting. By 1993 he began to establish an impassioned career in comics, publishing his first original graphic novel by 2006. His art has been featured by publications such as The New York Times and utilized by The Criterion Collection. His collaborations and commissioned work include former President Barack Obama, Ethan Hawke, the Wachowski sisters, and Prince.

Offset printed in full colour on eggshell ultra-white 270 GSM paper. It’s premium heavyweight cardstock. The poster is A3 (297 x 420 mm).
