This T-shirt is part of an official print series with Universal Products & Experiences, inspired by Christopher Nolan's new mythic action epic "The Odyssey", based on Homer's foundational saga. The collection brings together a group of acclaimed artists working in the tradition of pop culture art, inspired by Nolan's film.
The T-shirt is black, has a BFI logo to the front, and a design on the back. The image of the ship at sea was created by Matt Taylor. Taylor is an illustrator and designer based in the Sussex countryside who spends his days crafting expansive, Americana inspired illustrations with a nod to the classic comic book art of the fifties and sixties. He began his love of art through comic books and graphic design annuals, he continues to draw inspiration from art of all mediums. His career has spanned over a decade and he has worked for a wide range of clients from Nike to the BBC.
